Global Neuro & Spine Institute (GNSI) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary team specializing in neurology, spine care, and pain management.

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at GNSI, you will play an integral role in evaluating, treating, and managing patients with a variety of neurological, musculoskeletal, spine, and chronic pain conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians and other members of the clinical team, you will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, provide ongoing education, and help patients navigate their care from initial evaluation through follow-up.

This position is ideal for an APP who values clinical collaboration, enjoys managing complex patient populations, and is looking to expand their expertise in neurology, spine, and comprehensive pain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage patients with neurological, spine, musculoskeletal, and acute or chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising or collaborating physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing, imaging, and laboratory studies within the scope of practice.
• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with applicable laws, clinical protocols, and scope-of-practice requirements.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify care plans based on clinical progress and changing patient needs.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, procedures, lifestyle considerations, and ongoing condition management.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians, specialists, rehabilitation providers, and other healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care.
• Support patients throughout conservative, interventional, and other appropriate treatment pathways.
• Perform or assist with approved clinical procedures when appropriately trained, credentialed, privileged, and within the scope of the position.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate complex or urgent clinical concerns appropriately.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Support clinical quality, patient-safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Stay current with evolving clinical practices and advancements in neurology, spine care, and pain management.

What We're Looking For

Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current and unrestricted NP or PA license in the applicable state, or eligibility to obtain required licensure.
• Current national certification through the appropriate credentialing organization.
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on position responsibilities.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA registration required where applicable to the position and state law.
• Previous experience in neurology, pain management, spine care, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), neurosurgery, or a related specialty strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to evaluate and manage patients with complex or chronic conditions.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate patients on complex diagnoses and treatment options.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively manage a busy outpatient patient schedule.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and timely clinical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, APPs, clinical staff, and other members of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
