Plumbing Dispatcher (After Hours)

Location: Fairbury, IL (Corporate HQ)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–6:30 PM
Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $15–$18/hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do:

• Answer the Call: Field after-hours emergency plumbing calls from customers and gather the details our on-call technicians need.
• Dispatch the Right Tech: Coordinate with on-call plumbers to get them to the right job, fast.
• Keep It Organized: Log every call accurately so the technician and the morning team have what they need.
• Represent Edelman: Be the calm, professional voice customers hear when they're dealing with a stressful plumbing emergency.
• Know When to Escalate: Flag anything unusual to the on-call supervisor without hesitation.

What We're Looking For:

• Availability: Able to work Monday–Friday, 3:30–6:30 PM.
• Communication: Comfortable on the phone — clear, calm, and professional under pressure.
• Reliability: Shows up on time, every time.
• Experience: None required — we'll train you.
