Hospice Weekend Admission Nurse
Location: Puget Sound Area, WA | Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, King & Snohomish Counties
Schedule: Part-Time | Saturday & Sunday
Compensation: $55.00 - $63.00 per hour
Make a Difference From the Very First Visit. Meaningful Patient Care. No Ongoing Caseload.
At Envision Hospice, we believe every patient and family deserves a compassionate, supportive introduction to hospice care. Our Admission Nurses play an essential role in helping patients and their loved ones navigate this important transition with dignity, understanding, and confidence.
Unlike traditional case management positions, our Hospice Admission Nurses do not manage an ongoing patient caseload. Instead, they focus primarily on admissions, comprehensive assessments, patient and family education, and helping ensure a smooth transition into hospice services.
When admissions are not scheduled, nurses support the clinical team by providing routine patient visits, including death visits, as needed.
If you enjoy meeting new patients, educating families, and using your clinical expertise to make a meaningful difference, this may be the opportunity you've been looking for.
