The Opportunity

The Accounts Receivables Representative role will be responsible for maintaining a high monthly collections rates. Day-to-day tasks will be focused on  helping clients process payments via cash, credit card, Zelle, bank deposits, and ACH as well as helping clients' concerns be resolved.

What You’ll Do
 

  • Monitoring, processing, and recording payments via various methods including, but not limited to, cash, credit card, Zelle, Chase deposits, and ACH.  
  • Communicate with clients via phone call, text, and email to ensure payments are completed successfully. 
  • Utilize the established protocols to grant client extensions, modifications, and waiving of late fees. 
  • Monitor weekly court list and determine eligibility for future court dates, coordinating with Legal to ensure the best-case scenario for clients. 
  • Partner with the CS Department to ensure clients who express dissatisfaction with the firm’s services and work are addressed. 
  • Walk clients through the process and address questions or concerns as they relate to scope, modification, or adding of services.
  • For all other inquiries, be able to identify and reroute phone calls to the appropriate departments.  
  • Ensuring positive client satisfaction through follow ups, strong customer service and basic legal knowledge
  • Report novel issues to the department manager 
  • Other duties as assigned.

This role will be evaluated based on the following metrics:

  • Performance in the following areas: technical skills, communication, customer service, work habits, and ability to perform all duties of the position
  • Client satisfaction in handling client comments/concerns/disputes
  • Ability to appropriately delegate tasks and supervise others 
  • Collection rates
Requirements

 

  • 2+ years working in Customer Service
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A desire to work in the legal industry
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • Ability to receive payments in USD via PayPal
  • A dependable laptop or desktop (8GB RAM minimum, Core i5 or higher)
  • Stable 10 Mbps connection to ensure smooth performance
