Description

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pain Management

North Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time

Join AZ Pain Doctors and make a lasting impact on patients living with chronic pain. Work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative outpatient practice where you'll expand your clinical expertise, and enjoy a rewarding Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.

  

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
  • Review imaging and diagnostic studies
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and expected outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
  • Respond to patient questions and care-related messages
  • Collaborate closely with physicians regarding interventional pain management procedures
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving quality of life

What We're Looking For

  • Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing
  • Active DEA and CDS licenses
  • Previous Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred
  • Pain management, neurology, spine, or outpatient clinic experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • EMR proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

- Certification in relevant specialties (e.g., pain management, neurology) preferred

- Proven experience in pain management, neurology, or spine care

- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

- Knowledge of electronic health record systems and documentation standards

Salary Description
$110,000 - $140,000
