We are seeking a Fire Suppression Technician who will be tasked with installing and testing anything related to gaseous or special hazard Fire suppression systems, including repairs, deficiency corrections, or test and inspections. The ideal candidate will be deadline oriented and dependable.
- Maintain a professional and well groomed appearance.

- Maintain a good working relationship with AHJ’s.
- Provide an aggressive and proactive approach to satisfy client needs.
- Have good follow up and time management skills.
- Have the ability to meet deadlines.
- Have a good working knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials necessary to successfully complete task at hand.
- Assist with design, layout, field surveys, and client meetings as needed to secure a bid when requested by management.
- Understand and apply all applicable NFPA codes, especially NFPA 2001.
- Have the ability to interpret shop and contract drawings regarding scope of work.
- Responsible for ensuring that the procurement of material, equipment, and supplies needed for a task is accurate, in order to complete all tasks timely and accurately.
- Complete service related paperwork.
- Timely communications to the supervisor for any service related issues or improvements.
- Review daily work orders for accuracy.
- Perform all tasks on service repairs, deficiencies, and required tests and inspections.
- Assist clients and other technicians in after hour emergency or service based calls.
- Have the ability to work long hours when necessary.
Training and Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- NICET II or equivalent - Special Hazard Suppression Systems
- Fluent with fire suppression control panels, agent storage containers, installation practices, service and repair practices, and job requirements and specifications.
- Minimum of one to three years hands on experience in special hazard fire suppression systems.
- Proficient in DynaFire office hardware and software tools.
