Cherokee Town & Country Club, one of the nation’s premier private clubs, is seeking a Part-Time Child Activities Assistant to join our team at the Town Club in Atlanta, GA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Welcome children and help them feel comfortable, excited, and included.
  • Provide attentive supervision while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.
  • Lead games, arts & crafts, storytelling, and other age-appropriate activities.
  • Assist with monthly themes and creative programming.
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child's needs and experience.
  • Follow secure child check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Help children navigate conflicts and communicate behavioral concerns appropriately.
  • Provide snacks and meals while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Keep the Child Activity Center clean, organized, stocked, and ready for fun.
  • Assist with reservations, appropriate child-to-staff ratios, member billing, and reporting.
Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 1 year of childcare experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A friendly, energetic, patient, and service-oriented personality.
  • Someone who naturally connects with children, parents, and families.
  • Strong communication and attention to detail.
  • Dependability and a team-first attitude.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification or the ability to become certified.


WORK SCHEDULE

Our Child Activity Center is open seven days a week. Current ideal availability includes:

  • Thursday: 4:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 4:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 7:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
