Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists CNC Machinists and Operators with machine setup, material loading, part removal, and general shop support to maintain efficient production flow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load raw material and unload finished parts from CNC machines
- Deburr, clean, and stage parts for inspection or next operation
- Assist with machine setups under direct supervision
- Keep machine area clean and stocked with required materials
- Move parts and materials using hand trucks or shop carts
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Perform other duties as assigned by Machinist or Supervisor
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous manufacturing or shop experience
- Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to shop noise, metal chips, and coolants.
