Job Summary / Objectives of Role

The Production Tech performs assembly and production tasks utilizing a variety of tools, machines, and equipment. This position works as part of a team to support safety, productivity, and the delivery of high-quality products.


NIGHT SHIFT POSITION - 4:00PM - 12:30AM


Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, assemble, and crimp industrial and hydraulic hose according to required specifications.
  • Plan and set up production runs using necessary equipment, including saws, crimpers, and other shop equipment.
  • Review and ensure proper crimp specifications of fittings to hose.
  • Test and inspect hose assemblies according to shop procedures.
  • Communicate material shortages, equipment concerns, and other issues to the Production Manager.
  • Properly store and maintain warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and hose shop.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure proper assembly and correct parts are used.
  • Efficiently tag and mark completed hoses and ensure they are placed in the correct location.
  • Safely operate and maintain all equipment and follow all company policies and safety procedures.


Requirements

Required Skills & Education

  • • High School Diploma and/or GED.
  • • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • • Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
  • • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • • Motivated to learn and willing to take on new challenges.

Physical Requirements / Essential Job Functions

  • This is a physically demanding position requiring sustained physical activity throughout the workday.
  • • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per workday, with limited periods of sitting.
  • • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds independently and maneuver items exceeding 75 pounds with assistance or appropriate material-handling equipment.
  • • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
  • • Ability to safely handle and maneuver industrial hose, fittings, materials, and completed hose assemblies of varying sizes and weights.
  • • Ability to safely operate saws, crimpers, testing equipment, and other production/shop equipment.
  • • Ability to perform the essential functions and physical requirements of the position throughout the scheduled workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
