Meridian is seeking various positions to work in Chantilly, VA, Monday through Friday, 5 days a week. 


Job Description: 

Join an existing, experienced team to support a dedicated instance of the Meridian learning management solution for a federal government client. This position is full-time at a client site and supports all aspects of the customer’s deployment of Meridian LMS. In this role, you will interface with the customer, customer stakeholders, your fellow on-site Meridian team, and the Meridian support and product organization to ensure the program is delivering continuous value to meet the customer’s mission. 


Position 1 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Coordinate work Meridian’s team in an agile/SCRUM framework for sprint cycles
  • Coordinate major releases and patches in the customer’s environment
  • Support customer test plan development, where applicable 
  • Work with the internal teams, customers and partners to develop repeatable, streamlined processes and solutions using Meridian’s offerings to accomplish the customer base LMS objectives 
  • Confront internal issues openly and quickly 
  • Participate/support requirement gathering efforts, as it relates to the role
  • Deliver reports to the customer for presentation to leadership
  • Develop processes to improve the program quality and reliability
  • Manage monthly Program Management Meetings as it pertains to the learning program

Position 2 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Support the existing implementation on a Windows/SQL Server technology stack.
  • Support the existing toolsets on an AWS Cloud based technology stack.
  • Develop and add new features in the AWS Cloud based technology stack. 
  • Support issue resolution by determining root cause and alternatives to solution which best meets Meridian and client needs.
  • Work with the internal teams, customers and partners to develop repeatable, streamlined processes and solutions using Meridian’s offerings to accomplish the customer base LMS objectives.
  • Validate technical documentation is of quality, and accurate.
  • Confront internal issues openly and quickly.
  • Participate/support requirement gathering efforts, as it relates to the role.   
  • Support Web based applications, as part of a federal authorization and accreditation process.
  • Configure and manage a web-based application on a Windows or Linux server.

Position 3 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Manage the standards, procedures, reporting (including creating and running standard and ad hoc reports) and overall functionality of the Meridian LMS. This includes implementing several LMS features that deliver enhanced personalization,      accessibility, and efficiency in managing administrative and reporting requirements.
  • Work with the client in developing best approaches to use the Meridian software as a means to accomplish their LMS objectives.
  • Communicate what is needed by the customer including providing verbose details for enhancements and replication steps for software bugs.
  • Meet with development teams as well as the stakeholders on the high side to understand the problems and help shape the solutions that work for our customer.
  • Acquire detailed product knowledge of the Meridian LMS and its modules that will enable the individual to execute assigned project tasks. 
  • Work with client to define configuration requirements as well as create supporting functional designs.
  • Collaborate with, consult, and advise instructional designers and other key stakeholders of the LMS environment to support the development and deployment of content.
  • Support global system administrators in use of the Meridian LMS.
  • Create detailed, ad hoc job aids as needed.
  • Create detailed test plans and oversee the release testing process in conjunction with Project Management. 
  • Work with cross functional project teams through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) on documenting and translating business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot application and implementation issues by taking ownership of questions, researching application issues and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Provide product feedback (customer requirements, product shortcomings, enhancements, etc.) to product management and/or development.
  • Conduct informal and formal training sessions on related topics of interest to the client staff.

Qualifications: 

  • US Citizenship Required with TS/SCI w/FS Poly (TS/SCI ISSA) 
  • Experience managing software-based enterprise programs in operations 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with internal Stakeholders 
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of success. Solid team player with a positive attitude and a record of consistent follow through on commitments 
  • Ability to work on-site at the customer’s location Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Learning Management System experience is a plus, but not required

Education & Certifications: Bachelors degree in a related field

Salary Description
$150,000 - $190,000 annually
