What You'll Do
The Seasonal Warehouse Associate - Product Pre-Packer is a member of the Production team and is responsible for converting bulk seed inventory into finished retail products. This position directly supports Eden Brothers’ commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality products by ensuring that all seed and bulb packaging meets company standards for weight, count, labeling, and presentation.
Pre-Packers perform work under defined procedures and use the Odoo ERP system to track and complete Manufacturing Orders (MOs). Work requires consistent accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to established production rates and quality controls. This position is essential to maintaining operational efficiency within the warehouse and to ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
- Retrieve assigned Manufacturing Orders (MOs) daily in Odoo.
- Accurately record completed production, lot tracking, and finished goods in the system.
- Perform real-time quality checks in Odoo to verify weights, counts, and packaging are correct.
- Update any discrepancies in bulk usage, counts, or labeling directly in the system to maintain accurate inventory.
- Measure and pack seeds into packets and bulk sizes using scales, seed counters, and packaging machines.
- Perform continuous quality checks to ensure exact weights, counts, and seals.
- Follow strict labeling standards (variety, weight, lot number, compliance text).
- Operate heat sealers with counters and verify accurate sealing integrity.
- Identify and immediately flag any product, bulk, or labeling issues to the Production Manager.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in all weights, counts, and entries.
- Consistently hit daily and weekly packing targets without sacrificing accuracy.
- Must be a self-starter capable of working independently once tasks are assigned.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production schedules and shipping deadlines are met.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer and tablet skills
- Ability to use handheld barcode scanners
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Preferred
- Previous warehouse, inventory, receiving, or distribution experience
- Experience with inventory or warehouse management software
- Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse technology
- Experience operating pallet jacks or similar warehouse equipment
