Position Overview

QA Associates play an important role in the success of L2's production operations. Primary responsibilities of this position include retrieving garments as they come from the textile dryer and visually inspecting each piece to ensure they meet quality standards. As well as timely communication with operators and management team.

Key Responsibilities

Follow the direction of the Quality Assurance Lead and/or Quality Assurance Supervisor
Communicate effectively with the Machine Operator to maintain a good workflow from order to order
Immediately notify the Machine Operator and/or Quality Assurance Lead of any errors identified during a production run
Reference the Print Placement Guide to ensure correct print placement
Verify order accuracy, including the Tech Sheet, garment color/style, and print placement
Retrieve and neatly stack garments as they exit the textile dryer while maintaining pace with the print machine
Separate all garments that require cleaning, touch ups and mill rejects
Assist with finishing production orders, including but not limited to, second drying, applying appropriate stickers, and folding garments
Perform garment touch-ups and spot cleaning as needed
Complete the Daily Production Log and Defect log
Demonstrate commitment to and promote company values and standards
Quality Control – Monitor work to ensure quality and consistency. Identify opportunities to improve and promote quality standards. Apply feedback to improve performance and demonstrate commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
Safety & Security – Consistently follow established safety and security procedures. Report potentially unsafe conditions and use equipment and materials properly. Exercise sound judgment when determining appropriate action beyond standard guidelines.
Qualifications – To perform this position successfully, the employee must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and recognize similarities and differences between words, numbers, and sequences. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings is required. Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages, are required.
Work on special projects as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by (functional area senior management team member).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards.
Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or equipment needs to the supervisor promptly.

Work Environment

This job operates in a production environment and is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and chemicals. Noise level in the environment is moderate. This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time position.
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
