POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Entry-Level IT Desktop Support Technician to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in the field of Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow within our organization.

The IT Desktop Support Technician is responsible for the support of computers, networks and servers. They will work closely with the IT Manager. They will act as the backup for network, server and Desktop operations. Primary responsibilities include desktop support, network support, server support and documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

• Work with Network Administrator to understand the business needs required to support the Business Network.
• Maintain computer, network and server documentation.
• Maintain accurate Computer inventory.
• Field IT support requests identifying, troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting issues.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and work with third party support on issues needing assistance.
• Assist with software maintenance and implementation.
• Assist with hardware issues, requests, and maintenance.
• Identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward guests and staff.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB  

• Assist in hardware and software deployment projects and rollouts.
• Interact with third party service providers and vendors as needed to support core duties.
• Perform other tasks as necessary.

•   Bachelor’s degree, prior internship or work experience in an IT-related role is a plus, but not required.
• Understanding and ability to install and support Microsoft products.
• Windows 10 and Windows 11 experience.
• Ability to ski or snowboard to all locations within Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area. 
• Analytically Minded – Constant evaluations of performing better and analyzing several options against previous results is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL CONDITIONS  

• Frequently required to stand, balance, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Indoor/outdoor environment with time spent both in an office environment as well as outside in direct heat or cold exposure. May be exposed to inclement weather.
• Some travel is required.

SCHEDULE  

• Full time Seasonal, including weekends, holidays and some evening/nights.
