Description

As Regional CM/CI Lead, you'll help strengthen Fisher Associates' transportation construction practice through project delivery, quality leadership, staff development, recruiting, and client engagement. You'll remain actively involved in transportation construction assignments while helping shape how the practice grows throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.


This role is designed for an experienced transportation professional who wants broader influence without stepping away from the work. You'll have the opportunity to mentor technical staff, strengthen client relationships, support project pursuits, and help develop the next generation of CM/CI leaders.


What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor construction inspection and construction management personnel throughout the region.
  • Support transportation construction inspection and construction management assignments, including PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, municipal, and other transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Promote consistent, high-quality CM/CI delivery through project reviews, field audits, technical guidance, and quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, certification advancement, professional development, retention, and workforce planning.
  • Build relationships with PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, municipalities, contractors, consulting partners, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, proposal development, project pursuits, and strategic growth of CM/CI services throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.
  • Provide technical and project delivery guidance related to schedules, construction sequencing, resource planning, documentation, and project administration.


Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum eight (8) years of transportation construction inspection or construction management experience.
  • Experience working on PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical staff.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NICET Highway Construction Inspection Level III or IV.
  • PennDOT Certified Concrete Technician.
  • NECEPT Certified Bituminous Technician.
  • Experience serving as a TCIS, TCM, Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, Assistant Construction Manager, Professional Engineer, or similar leadership role.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification.
  • Experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing transportation construction personnel.
  • Experience with project scheduling, schedule review, schedule analysis, construction sequencing, and/or Primavera P6 or ASTA.
  • Established professional network within the transportation construction industry, including inspectors, construction managers, contractors, agency personnel, and industry partners.
  • Experience working directly with PennDOT District personnel, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission staff, municipalities, contractors, and consulting partners.

Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 Annually

This role is aligned to the Allentown, PA market for transportation construction leadership and CM/CI work across Eastern Pennsylvania. Fisher may also consider strong candidates located near Allentown, King of Prussia, Philadelphia, Scranton, and Harrisburg, PA based on project needs, client alignment, team growth priorities, and business development opportunity.

Salary Description
$80,000-$100,000 Annually
