Maintenance Jack-of-All-Trades

Multiple Locations. Endless Variety. One Go-To Problem Solver!

Do you enjoy fixing things, figuring things out, and taking on a new challenge every day?

Are you the person everyone calls when something breaks, leaks, squeaks, sticks, or just doesn't work the way it should?

Then we want to meet you!

We're looking for a skilled, dependable, and resourceful Multi-Site Maintenance Specialist to help keep several unique businesses running smoothly.

This isn't your typical maintenance job. You won't be stuck in one building doing the same thing every day. One morning you might be repairing a door, the afternoon could involve troubleshooting plumbing, and tomorrow you could be building shelves, installing fixtures, or tackling a completely different project.

You'll also have opportunities to assist with maintenance and improvement projects at privately owned residential properties.

If you're a hands-on problem solver who likes variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can be trusted to get the job done right, this could be the perfect fit!

What You'll Be Doing

A little bit of everything — and that's the fun part!

  • Electrical: Troubleshoot lighting, replace fixtures, and handle basic electrical repairs within your qualifications and applicable requirements.
  • Plumbing: Fix leaks, repair faucets, troubleshoot toilets, and tackle everyday plumbing problems.
  • Carpentry: Build, repair, install, modify, and make things fit just right.
  • General Repairs: Doors, drywall, painting, flooring, shelving, cabinets — you name it!
  • Building Maintenance: Keep our facilities safe, functional, organized, and looking their best.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Catch the little problems before they become big, expensive ones.
  • Special Projects: Help with facility improvements, renovations, installations, and those unexpected projects that always seem to pop up.
  • Residential Projects: Occasionally assist with handyman services and property improvements at the owner's private residence.
  • Problem Solving: Figure out what's wrong, determine the best solution, and make it happen.

And because we operate several different businesses, no two days will look exactly alike!

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit?

We're not necessarily looking for someone with a fancy title or a wall full of certificates.

We're looking for someone who knows their way around a toolbox, thinks on their feet, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has approximately 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance, handyman, construction, or skilled-trades experience.
  • Knows a thing or two about electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Can troubleshoot problems without needing someone to hold their hand.
  • Is mechanically inclined and enjoys figuring out how things work.
  • Can juggle multiple projects and shift priorities when necessary.
  • Takes pride in doing quality work — not just getting it done.
  • Knows when to tackle a project independently and when to call in a licensed professional.
  • Is organized, dependable, and communicates well.
  • Has a valid driver's license and can travel between locations.
  • Has a good sense of humor and a positive, can-do attitude.

The Most Important Tools in Your Toolbox?

Integrity. Trustworthiness. Discretion.

Yes, we want someone who can fix just about anything. But equally important, we need someone we can trust.

This position is unique because you'll be working across multiple businesses and may occasionally perform work inside the owner's private residence.

That means we're looking for someone who:

  • Understands that confidentiality is non-negotiable.
  • Respects personal property, privacy, and professional boundaries.
  • Can be trusted with keys, access codes, secured areas, and sensitive information.
  • Does the right thing, even when nobody is watching.
  • Represents our companies professionally wherever the job takes them.

Skills can be developed. Character, integrity, and trust are essential.

What You Can Expect

  • Variety: Different locations, different projects, different challenges.
  • Independence: The opportunity to manage your work and use your judgment.
  • Hands-On Work: Spend your days fixing, building, improving, and accomplishing things.
  • A Team That Values Your Skills: Your work will make a visible difference across multiple businesses.
  • Room to Grow: Opportunities to expand your knowledge and take on new challenges.

Job Satisfaction: At the end of the day, you'll be able to see what you've accomplished.
