Design Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Design Technician to join our engineering team. In this role, you will support the development and modification of specialized products and components, ensuring they meet technical specifications and client requirements. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of custom solutions and enhancements for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement Special A dimensions and special pedestal modifications

- Perform bearing substitutions and material gauge changes

- Modify standard products to meet specific project needs

- Design and specify special flexible connectors, silencers, dampers, accessories, and custom bill parametric fans

- Manage material swaps and ensure compatibility with existing designs

- Prepare and review DOD (Design, Operation, and Documentation) drawings

- Assist in the repair and rebuild of fans, ensuring functionality and safety

- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in mechanical or product design, preferably in HVAC, fan, or related industries

- Proficiency with CAD software and other design tools

- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
