We Need a Supervisor Who Can Lead People, Solve Problems, and Keep Production Moving.

We are an established metal-finishing processor serving customers in aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial markets.

We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor who can lead employees, maintain production schedules, enforce quality and safety requirements, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Previous supervisory experience is essential. Experience with electroplating, metal finishing, or industrial surface treatment is strongly preferred.

We're not looking for someone who simply watches production numbers. We need someone who takes ownership of their department, understands how to get the best out of their employees, and knows that safety, quality, and productivity must work together.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Production Operations

  • Oversee daily production activities to meet schedules, quality requirements, and customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor workflow, production rates, and equipment utilization.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and production priorities.
  • Communicate production status, delays, and concerns to management.

Employee Leadership & Accountability

  • Direct, coach, train, and develop production employees.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and consistently hold employees accountable.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, quality, and adherence to Company procedures.
  • Document performance concerns and work with HR on employee-related matters.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a productive work environment.

Quality & Process Control

  • Ensure employees follow work instructions, customer specifications, and established operating procedures.
  • Verify that production documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Identify process problems and work with Quality Assurance to resolve them.
  • Help reduce rework, scrap, waste, and unnecessary production delays.
  • Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce workplace safety requirements and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure employees follow established chemical-handling and environmental procedures.
  • Address unsafe conditions and behaviors immediately.
  • Support compliance with applicable customer, quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising employees in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workflow, staffing, training, and employee performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, production documentation, and applicable specifications.
  • Experience monitoring productivity, quality, and operational performance.
  • Ability to address performance problems and enforce standards consistently.
  • Comfortable working directly on the shop floor and making timely operational decisions.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and production-related systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in electroplating, anodizing, metal finishing, or surface treatment.
  • Experience supervising chemical processing or industrial production operations.
  • Knowledge of plating processes, process limitations, and quality controls.
  • Familiarity with Nadcap requirements and customer-driven process specifications.
  • Familiarity with ITAR-controlled production environments.
  • CEF/NASF certification or related metal-finishing training.
  • Hazardous waste or HAZWOPER training.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement or cost-reduction efforts.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
  • Quarterly profit-sharing opportunities
  • Medical and other available insurance benefits
  • Employer-paid NICE Healthcare services
  • 401(k) with Company matching
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • An opportunity to lead an established production team and make a measurable impact

Our Work Environment
