APEX Controls is seeking a skilled Journeyman Controls Electrician to support the installation, startup, and commissioning of industrial automation systems. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who enjoys solving problems, working in diverse industrial environments, and partnering with engineers and customers to deliver successful projects.
What You'll Do
- Install industrial control systems and automation equipment
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical devices
- Install and wire PLC panels, HMIs, drives, motors, and field instrumentation
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents
- Perform equipment startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Verify installations meet NEC requirements and company standards
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customers
- Travel to customer sites as needed

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience
- Industrial electrical experience preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems
- Experience reading electrical schematics and one-line drawings
- Strong communication and customer service skills
