Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time
Tuscan Gardens is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
- Float between shifts as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document resident care activities thoroughly and in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current LPN license in the state of employment
- Prior experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts, including both first and second shifts
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
