Part-Time Driver – Water's Edge of Lake Wales

Water's Edge of Lake Wales is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a warm and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Part-Time Driver to join our team, ensuring our residents have safe and comfortable transportation to various appointments and activities. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on our residents' daily lives while working in a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled activities

- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from vehicles as needed

- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, including regular inspections and reporting any issues

- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety at all times

- Maintain accurate records of trips and mileage

- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management to coordinate transportation needs

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Prior experience in transportation, caregiving, or a related field preferred

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to handle residents with compassion and patience

- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some weekends

- Good organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
