Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate a variety of recreational activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
- Encourage active participation and social interaction among residents
- Assist in developing and implementing programs that promote life skills, wellness, and overall well-being
- Monitor and evaluate residents’ engagement and provide feedback for program improvement
- Collaborate with staff and family members to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment during activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, or a related field, preferably in senior care or healthcare settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging seniors in meaningful activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and life skills development
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in activity planning or senior care are a plus
